The Marketplace at 17 Springs is the name given to the land area fronting Alabama Highway 14 directly south of the Fields at 17 Springs situated within the City of Millbrook in Elmore County, Alabama. This eighteen (18) +/- acre tract is publicly owned and zoned for commercial/business uses. While the property designated for the Marketplace at 17 Springs is currently undeveloped, construction plans for future infrastructure (roads, utilities, fiber broadband, telecommunications, etc.) are in progress. The City in concert with the county is in the process of preparing a commercial plat of the property. It is expected that sites in the Marketplace at 17 Springs will be available for purchase by prospective commercial tenants beginning at the end of 2023.
The development goals for the Marketplace consist of maximizing its commercial development potential while contributing to the vibrancy and vitality of the Alabama Highway 14 corridor in order to attract locals, visitors, and tourists to the area. The Marketplace at 17 Springs will offer a unique mix of activities that serves as a destination and experience for dining, shopping, lodging, and recreation opportunities.
